In 1957, our founder, Mr. Ho-Jan Han started the first small soybean crushing factory in Tainan, producing soybean oil and cake. Focusing on food, agriculture and livestock industry, and with traceability in mind, DaChan has been successfully expanding its business as well as establishing a vertically integrated system in broilers, eggs, pigs, and aquaculture in Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia.

Managing and controlling from the very beginning of food industry means we look after each and every single step: from breeding, propagation, disease control, feed production, contract farming, breeding supervision, and processing, providing consumers with safe and healthy food.

Developing local markets with a global business blueprint, DaChan has become a conglomerate of more than 50 subsidiaries, grounding a solid foot in the Asia-Pacific region. DaChan is comprised of five strategic business groups across Asia，including Taiwan Agribasics Business Group, East Asia Business Group, Flour Milling Business, Food Service Business Group and Specialty Business Group.
